Thanksgiving gifts - suggestions for shopping in the Penn Station / Hell's Kitchen / Grand Central area ?

Hi all,

I am going to a friend's mother's house for Thanksgiving and want to pick up a gift for her. I work in Midtown and want to find something good nearby.

I know she likes chocolate so I'm looking for a nice chocolate gift (box? basket?) to bring her.

Any suggestions? I'd also be happy with a basket that includes a nice bread, nuts, etc.

Thanks!

Thanks for the advice! All great - I work right in that gross area near Penn Station so that's why I asked. All walkable places and I appreciate it!

Kee's Chocolates also has a location inside the HSBC building on Fifth Ave. between 39th and 40th. They are open from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Jacques Torres, La Maison du Chocolat, and Bouchon Bakery are all in Rockefeller Center. I believe Li-Lac also has a kiosk at Grand Central.
