Miller's Bake House available at Chico Certified Farmers Market, Chico- anyone?

I just read about Dave Miller and Miller's Bake House from a local SF bread maker, Josey Baker, that blogged about him.

Dave Miller makes whole grain pasta, whole grain sourdough breads, uses heritage wheats, bulk grains, & you can get freshly milled whole grain flours (by special order).

He sells his stuff at the Chico Certified Farmers' Market Downtown at 2nd & Wall St, Chico every Sat from 7:30-1pm.

Anyone try his stuff?

  1. I've only had the pasta and what he calls the sac river sourdough. My son really likes the pasta but I find it slimy - super glad my son will eat any whole grain pasta so I buy it. I like the bread a lot but don't get it every time I go to the market. My husband is allergic to nuts so I don't buy those-hope someone chimes in on those. Thanks for the reminder about him!

    1. I know this is an old discussion, but I'd welcome any updates with respect to where Dave Miller's bread is sold (I live in the Roseville-Folsom area), other than at the Chico Farmer's Market.

I asked via email and Dave said only available at the Chico farmers' market.

          hhc, thanks!

Looks like I will have to arrange for a road trip in the near future.

      2. And, is Dave's bread only sold on Saturdays, as far as you know?
