How would you say I am doing with this itinerary, and also someplace for New Year's Eve that will be easy, not prix fixe, good drink, etc. We have four nights and so far the schedule is looking like:

29th:
Dinner - Brigtsen's

30th:
Brunch - Surrey's
Dinner - Patois

31st:
Breakfast - open
Lunch - WIllie Mae's
Dinner - ???

1st:
Brunch - someplace open, good, maybe a po boy at Parkway? May also wind up going to the Saints game.
Dinner - Stella

2nd:
Crabby Jack's on the way out of town.

Anything new or exciting you would suggest going to? Anything worth mixing up to take advantage of a Friday lunch (say at Coquette perhaps?)

I really appreciate the help!!!

Where are you staying. If you are staying in the FQ you will have to travel about 15/20 minutes to Uptown to Brigtsen's and Patois two days in a row. I would have dinner in the FQ on the 29th at Galatoire's or Muriel's and walk if you were staying in the FQ. Have breakfast at Camellia Grill, Olde Coffe Pot or Red Gravy. Skip WM's and have lunch at Mr. B's or Bayona. If you go Uptown I would skip Patois and have dinner at Clancy's. Skip WM's and have a po boy in the FQ at Johnny's. JMO. Enjoy your trip.
