Business dinner next week, including one vegetarian

I am not familiar with Chicago at all, unfortunately, and need to choose restaurants for some business dinners for next week (so Alinea is out). Ideally we would like to be not too far from Wacker and LaSalle or close to the Palmer hotel. Proximity and ability to actually snag a reservation are key. One diner is a vegetarian. If it helps as a point of reference, in NYC I would choose somewhere like Jean Georges, Ai Fiori, Lincoln, Yasuda. Thanks so much in advance!

Realized I posted this under another post so visitors might not notice it initially:

Walking distance from Palmer House and setting/food are primary. I'm now looking at Rhapsody, Atwood, Vivere and Florentine. Would all of these work for a business dinner? Thanks so much!

Rhapsody and Vivere will also work for business dinners provided the time is after pre-theatre dining. Both have many business lunches. The key issue for Rhapsody is the Chicago Symphony, which has evening concerts on Dec. 1 and 2. Reservations at 7:30 or later should be wide open with low noise levels.

Not a vgean - bring on the cream and eggs! I'll check out these suggestions. I think closer to Palmer House (thanks for letting me know about the name) is probably best.

Close to the Palmer House are three Italian restaurants in one building:

Not the best of class, but solid and dependable.

I can't think of any place in town that doesn't have very nice vegetarian options. The question then becomes whether you want to walk from your hotel or a taxi drive will do.

Some notable suggestions include Spiaggia, Naha, MK, Everest, Piccola Sogno, Tru, and Moto - for starters. If you know your dates you can check availability on opentable.com.

Oh, and it's the Palmer House, now a Hilton hotel, but it is a long-time venerable Chicago landmark.

Is the vegetarian a vegan? This would make it tougher.
If not a vegan, then consider The Gage, since its location is good.

The only one of those restaurants I can speak to personally is Atwood and it would be perfect. I've had business meetings there. It's reasonably quiet and the food is very good.
