eating out on thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Dinner for three on the peninsula or SF- price range moderate. Any suggestions?

  1. Patty Unterman had recommendations in last Friday's Examiner. Mostly she wrote about Square One and suggested Ame for the adventurous, but she did mention 4-5 others including one on the Wharf (Boudin Boulangerie?) that had a $22 turkey dinner with all the fixin's.

Unterman suggested One Market (great view of Occupy SF), Bistro Boudin, Bluestem Brasserie, Michael Mina, Beach Chalet (has the food there improved?), L'P'tit Laurent, and Ame.

Skimming Opentable, I'd consider 1300 on Fillmore, Chenery Park, Elite Cafe, Palio d'Asti, and Zaré at Fly Trap.

Anybody ever had Thanksgiving at The Van's?

Well, I got one restaurant and one word right in the other two. :)

My wife and I had dinner at the Elite Cafe one Thanksgiving, and it was really fun. All kinds of fun sides, and those biscuits! OMG! I went back and bought some frozen ones.
