9" pie dishes - where to buy in UK?

psycho_fluff Nov 21, 2011 02:40 AM

I want to get some 9" pie dishes for my pumpkin pies & coconut cream pies that I do but cant find any anywhere. Im sick of getting the ready made Keebler Graham Cracker ready made ones & would like a couple of proper ones to put in the cupboard. Anyone bought any anywhere?

Have you tried Lakeland or John Lewis? They're the usual places I'd try for that kind of thing.

      Amazon - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tala-Pie-Dish...

Although, if it was me, I'd first try my local market, as it's bound to be cheaper than Lakeland, which is where I'd go next.

Ive tried all local shops, markets, bakeware & household shops around my area & also further into Kent & have even had my mother out looking as she wants some too but there are no 9" deep pie dishes out there. They are all 8" shallow dishes. There are twin packs Ive seen on Amazon now though so I'll get them from there. Thanks for your replies Chowhounders. :D

These are the ones I'm going to get. £15 for a twin pack.

Pleased to hear you got sorted. I'm surprised that your local markets and neighbourhood household shops didnt have them, as ours would usually have a good range. Perhaps pies are more a northern thing - after all, there is the Wigan kebab.
