Colleyville Eats

Colleyville has never much on the dining scene - not even chains. But enter the recently opened Next Wood Fired Bistro & Vino Bar on 26 near Glade.

The once known Taco Bell turned pizza place (Peter's :( ), is now turning out a menu of tried, true and trendy, some gourmet options - lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch - at moderate prices. After several months of renovation and space expansion, they opened in Oct. "We" have so needed a casual, trendy, neighborhood eats place in the CV/SL/GV area. This seemingly will fit the bill.

..... and so far, the food as well as the small, but world proxied wine selection is getting great "regular people" reviews. The one fall down seems to be the repeatedly commented on inexperienced service staff, which hopefully will be self correcting with time. No, I haven't been - keep forgetting to go that way; but I am looking forward to many visits.

The Londoner is coming to Colleyville to occupy the building originally built by Applebee's and later, a couple of other failed cafes. http://www.star-telegram.com/2012/01/...

I completely agree. Went there for Sunday brunch and had a wonderful experience. The place has a more modern, contemporary style to it than its predecessor (Peter's Pizza).

        Look forward to returning there!

Thanks for the update. I still haven't gotten in there yet. Every time I pass by, though, it is packed. Nice addition to the neighborhood as far as I can tell.
