Hatfield's Restaurant (desserts)
Has anyone had Hatfield's poached pear brown butter galette? What about the chocolate malted bavarian or sugar & spice beignets? I'm going there this week for dinner and can't help but look ahead at the desserts.

Beignets with molten chocolate dipping sauce are excellent. They are my go to dessert at Hatfield's. But then again, I am a sucker for beignets.
The warm chocolate cake with molten peanut butter center is also very good.
Have not tried the pear galette.

Porthos, thanks for your recs. I was heartbroken to find the beignets absent from the menu (Thanksgiving Eve). I had the pear galette, which was terrific (the accompanying cinnamon ice milk was particularly delectable). My wife had the chocolate malted bavarian, which was just okay (not much chocolate involved, really).
Hopefully the beignets will be back soon...

That pear galette is superb. Not being a chocoholic, it is my go-to dessert at Hatfields.
ps - the beignets are wonderful when available.
