Thanksgiving Dinner in Belmont/Boston Area-recommendations needed!
We are going to be visiting friends in Belmont for TG dinner (taking them out) and desperately need restaurant suggestions in Belmont or nearby Boston area. It does not have to be a classic turkey dinner (can even be seafood), but we will have our 8 year old son with us (so ideally someplace that is not too stuffy). We are driving up from NYC, so will have our car. And if anyone can recommend a hotel...even better! TYSM!
Ouch! A bit late to try to find accomodations in the Metro area for TDay...I am a native of Lexington with family still in the area and we have stayed at Summerfield Suites in Burlington for a couple of Christmases, but usually made reservations at least a month in advance. Prices will be high. Try the Asian restaurants in all towns -- we can recommend Great Wall in Bedford, Bamboo in Burlington. Legal Seafood at the Burlington Mall is good and also has non-seafood offerings. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!
Dalya's in Bedford is serving Thanksgiving. It's been a nice place for us to go, but we've never tried a Holiday dinner. I really don't like Great Wall in Bedford. They don't even do American Chinese that well and we've gotten take-out that smelled "off" so we just pitched it in the trash.
The 8 year old may just need to have an alcohol free cocktail, bring some amusements, and take the experience for what it is- Thanksgiving dinner at at restaurant.
20 North Rd Ste 1, Bedford, MA 01730
Il Casale in Belmont Center, if you can still get a reservation, is excellent.
Otherwise, do a CH search under Thanksgiving and a few recent/current threads will come up about where to go.
