Too much yoghurt - what to do?!
Hey Folks,
Fresh Direct delivered ten, not two as I ordered, Fage plain yoghurts today. I know they'll keep pretty well, but I can see them languishing in the fridge until the new year.
Can I bake with yoghurt? Does anyone have any personal favs with yoghurt?
I need help here.
Thanks
Sean
Yes, you can bake with it. Just google it and you will find lots of recipes. It can be used in muffins and cakes. You can also make yogurt cheese with it. I also found suggestions for frozen yogurt using the search terms: freezing yogurt at home.

You can marinate with plain yogurt for delicious and moist chicken, pork or fish. My current favorites are bone-in chicken breasts or thighs in yogurt, lime juice, soy sauce, grated ginger and garlic and salmon with yogurt, lemon and tarragon.

Serious Eats just posted a recipe for chicken salad using tahini-yogurt instead of mayo. Sounds absolutely delicious. And with Thanksgiving next week, I'll be making Turkey salad instead.

your yogurt will last through then.
but if you do want to help it along in getting used up, make a nice indian dish! the yogurt is a super marinade.

Not including what's already been mentioned, maybe try making froyo? Tons of recipes online!
Orrrr (in secret), apply yogurt to face and let sit, then rinse with cold water. Good for the skin!
