Cooks County--Has Anyone Tried?

Curious about Cooks County, new restaurant opened in old Bistro LQ space. Menu looks excellent and very reasonable.

Yes, tried it over a week ago.

Had the clams/fennel sausage appetizer, and the pork loin and tagliatelle entrees and a dessert I cannot remember. But then I seldom do remember desserts.

All very good.

Nice, as in very nice, wine list, btw.

Very casual environs, unlike the previous LQ or Mimosa decorations. If you remember either of the previous tenants, you will never think of them when in Cooks County.

Very affordable, and meant to be eaten in once or twice a week if you live nearby.
