Pretty good ramen at Samurai

I know hounds are always looking for spots to get a ramen fix. Surprisingly I've had a couple of good bowls at Samurai on Boylston. They advertise it on their sidewalk sign, but it's not on the regular menu.

They offer vegetable, shrimp or pork. I've only ordered the pork so can't attest to the other options. They also only offer miso ramen. Noodles had a nice bite to them, flavorful roasted pork belly slices, nice rich broth and topped with a raw egg. One of the better, if not the best, ramen I've had in Boston. And I didn't have to travel all the way to Porter Square which is nice.

Just my PSA for the day!

  1. Thanks for the tip! I'm always seeking ramen that's even remotely close to what I had in Tokyo. Impossible to find in Boston. I'm psyched to try this place.

I can't promise Tokyo level, but it was pretty good for Boston standards

    2. Thank you very much!

When you say they only offer miso ramen, does that mean that the vegetable, shrimp, and pork versions are all miso versions? Or is there a separate miso-only ramen?
