Wine delivery/wine clubs in Vancouver
A quick google search turned up Marquis (who ships what you choose), Everything Wine and BC Wine Club (which both do wine clubs). Unfortunately Discover Wines (in Kelowna) only delivers to places of business and no third party gifting. Does anyone have any experience with the wine clubs? I am curious as to what kinds of wine they're delivering as it's a gift for someone else. Or is there another one that I'm missing out on?
Thx in advance.

If you're looking international wines, you might want to investigate Hemispheres http://www.hemisphereswineclub.ca/

Not based in Vancouver but the same idea is the Opimian Society: https://www.opim.ca/index.php?option=...
My brother belongs (in Alberta) and he is happy with the selection of wines he gets from them.

re: bdachow
There is a local chapter. Each province has an offering tailored (and priced) to it.
I used to be a member (7-8 years ago) but stopped as I didn't find it to be a good enough value afer the membership fee is factored in. There are some good buys on cases (often cases of 6, which is nice) and each month's offering features a different region so it's good for introducing variety. I went with the Opimian Select service for a while - they send out a mixed 6 pack each month and found most to be pretty mediocre (5 meh wines and 1 ok one typically). There is an annual membership fee for Opim, and that in itself can make a nice gift (just skip the Opim Select service). You can find their local rep listed here if you want to know more:
