Special birthday dinner.... suggestions??

Hi friends! Looking for a great place for my birthday dinner with my boyfriend this year (we have the SAME birthday so we always like to go somewhere really special and wonderful). We are huge foodies and really are not picky at all.... we love trying new things and are pretty adventurous. Last year we did wd50 which was an amazing esxperience.

As far as price point, doesn't really matter - as long as its not CRAZY like le bernadin or masa. Within reason but can be on the pricey side for sure.

Area doesn't matter either. Give me your faves!!! Thanks!

Since you say you "love trying new things and are pretty adventurous," I highly recommend Jung Sik, the upscale Korean restaurant which opened recently. We had dinner there last Saturday, and the Modern Korean cuisine is sensational! There's a very good wine list, service is friendly and professional, and the ambiance is lovely.

As far as costs go, the 5-course tasting menu is $115; the 3-course prix-fixe is $80.
