Dinner or drinks for 4 with music? Duane Park?

  • 6

My parents and brother will be in town (we range in age from 31 to 66) and would like to enjoy some jazz. Not looking for an actual show with a ticket or cover price (We are already going to the Blue Note). Has anyone been to Duane Park?

  1. Rum House, Silver Lining, Pegu Club, and Little Branch (all cocktail lounges) all have live music, dependent upon what day of the week and what time you plan to visit.

Silver Lining sounds great! They don't seem to have a website, do you know if you need to make a reservation?

Here's their site, you can see the live music calendar as well:

I don't believe they take reservations. I suppose you can always call and ask....

    2. Yes, we went to Duane Park about a year ago. The musical entertainment was enjoyable; the young strippers (to whom those tassels of the Tassel Room were attached) were less pleasing to the women than the men of our dinner group. The food was good but nothing special. Maybe someone can recommend Dizzy's Club/Jazz at Lincoln Center (in Time Warner bldg)....? I haven't been, but heard positive things about it.
Edit: Dizzy's Club does have a cover charge (which I just discovered). Sorry

      1. Jazz Standard serving Blue Smoke food...not a bad option.
