I'd say skip the show and just pick a restaurant you want to eat at.... the money and time you save skipping the show can go towards a better dining experience.

Sorry! but I beg to differ! Afterall it is a food AND WINE show! May be the OP would like to take advantage of the venue to sample some hard to come by wine??!! Based on my own personal experiences, this expo in the past provided me with the opportunity to sample ultra expensive and rare wines like Le Pin and DRC's La Tache. albeit at a hefty price!
As for quality of food! Now, that's another matter. In the past, when this event, at its infancy, manage to attract chefs the calibre of Marc Thuet, Hiro or Pat Riley. Its definitely worth the visit. But now??! Edo Sushi??!! Give me a break!!!!
Well, I'll be attending the expo on Friday. However, chances are, I'll be grabbing a bowl or noodle from Swatow, on Spadina or a bowl of Pho from Tien Tan on Ossington. Not much choices after the closing time of 10 pm?!-----

County General?! Good choice, especially I haven't been! I'll check with fellow chowhounder skylineR33 ( he's going with me ) to see whether he'd like to give it a try! We were also thinking of giving Fishbar or Starfish a try. ( don't want to eat too heavy that late?! so seafood would be ideal )

Fishbar's food was meh, and the service was atrocious the night I went. One of my worst 3 service experiences over the last year. Starfish is much, much better.
I think Nota Bene is also still serving dinner at 10pm/10:30 pm. I've liked the fish/shellfish dishes I've ordered lately. The website shows they're open 5pm-11 pm, but they're currently offline at Opentable, as I write this message.
