What are you making for Thanksgiving Eve?

Your big dinner BEFORE the big dinner?

OR are you going out? It kicks off the big 4 day weekend for some (or most) and it's probably a short work day too.

I think it's a perfect time for something a little extra versus a normal start of a weekend.

Eggs. Always eggs the night before because it is quick and easy and leaves me more time for the T.G. meal preparation.

Thanksgiving Eve is reserved for food prep for us: brining the turkey, making the pies/rolls/etc. We usually walk up to the Asian food court a couple blocks away and get takeout.

Stuffing! I make it the night before and I have to make sure it's good.

My family (heavy Italian lean from my dad's side) hosts my mom’s side of the family (Swedish/German descent) for Thanksgiving. Everyone comes from far and wide so they stay for a few days. The night before we do a huge red sauce meal - home made lasagna with fresh pasts sheets, meatballs, pork etc. They love it because they never get home cooked red sauce Italian. We eat a huge and wide array of food over the three days we consider Thanksgiving.

Pulled pork from a butt I smoked over the summer. I don't know when the family will arrive, so it'll have to be something easy and uncomplicated. I'll just take some out of the freezer.

Same here. Easy, feeds a crowd. Also a caesar-type salad alongside. Maybe some grilled burgers or dogs if group size indicates.

Probably something easy at home like grilled pizza or penne al vodka.
