cupcakes --back bay or south end?

Hi there,
Any suggestions on where I could grab a few cupcakes tomorrow to celebrate my little one's birthday? (the cake is coming this w/e!) I am pretty sure there's no where in the south end....there might be a cupcake store on Newbury St (Sweet, maybe?) but I'm not sure.
Party Favors is an option (and is exactly what I am looking for) but would prefer not to trek out to Brookline. Any recs appreciated.

It would be a mini road trip but worth it. I stumbled upon the cake bar in Franklin and had a great carrot cake cupcake. Turns out the owner just opened up shop after winning $10g on the food network cake challenge. It is a small shop but they do custom cakes and 3 different size cupcakes.
She was featured on tv diner recently.
