I just got engaged to my boyfriend. I'd like to take him out for a lovely birthday dinner in Montreal and I'm willing to splurge. We have enjoyed dinners at Europea and Club Chasse et Peche. Ideas for a happy couple?

Da Emma in Old Montreal if you like Italian. Fantastic food with lovely ambiance.

I'd strongly recommend La Porte. Arguably the best restaurant in town, and without a doubt the most romantic.
