I'm about to get a smartphone, probably android-based, but might succumb to an i-phone. Suggestions for any particularly useful apps? I know there are useful things for when we travel, but I was thinking for daily at-home (more or less) use.
I have been using Allrecipe's Dinner Spinner for quickie look-ups. I'd love to hear some comments about other apps. before I download them.
I have: Big Oven, Discuss Cooking, epi (epicurious), My Cookbook: for shopping, I have My Pantry2, Mighty Grocery, also, Urbanspoon, Open Table nd TripAdvisor. These are all Android apps.
Which of those do you find the most useful, and why? Of course, we all have different needs, but it's nice to hear from a real person who has actually used them.
