Romantic Evening for two

I am looking for a romantic evening Ideas for 2 I have thought of the following choices please weigh in with your opinions:

Clio
Menton
Mistral
#9
Bristol Lounge
Meritage
Troquet

We have dietary restrictions which don't go well with tasting menus but are normally fine with pre fixe menus. What is your opinion on those choices or please feel free to throw your own idea into the mix.

    Mistral, Clio and #9 are very good, with your diet restrictions, I'd definately call and let them know. They may be able to put a few courses together for you.

      i hate it when there are zero replies to a post. certainly many CHs have eaten at places on your list and have weighed in on them, so maybe they just haven't seen this thread....
      the easy go-to for 'romantic ' is Bondir; just a lovely intimate romantic place. i'm one who finds the food too simple/boring, but many CHs love it. Since you loved Sorellina, you would likely love the room at Mistral. Not intimate but beautiful. Clio- I have always been disappointed in the room/atmosphere though the food is tops.

      you've likely alrdy done this, but websites usually have dining room photos. The recent Boston magazine Best 50 Boston Restnts has easiest access to all the websites of the ones on your list; just scroll down and click.That way, you also get to see what menus wow you.
