So I need some help. We are having about 15 people over including a 10 month old, and another 1 year old over for my daughter's birthday. The party is at 3 so not requiring a lot of food. I need some ideas for things to serve. I want things to be very easy but I also want there to be some finger food ideas for the little ones. Husband is taking care of the cake (a Bruins one at that). Really just in a rut and need some new ideas. The only restriction is nothing with peanuts.

I have a four year old and a two year old. Here are some of things we've done:

    1. Cheese plate and a few fingers foods. Finger goods this year were roasted butternut squash, fried sage leaves and lemon ricotta on toasted baguette and polenta squares with mushroom filling. The kids get their own cheese plate with string cheese and american cheese.

    2. Pulled pork sliders and finger rolls with shrimp salad filing, and a crudites with CI's ceaser dip.

    3. Bunch of finger foods. Spanish style tortilla, feta in olive oil, lamb meatballs and baquette topped with thinly sliced steak, caramelized onions and goat cheese etc.
