Luxardo Sangue Morlacco v. Cherry Heering
Anyone have any feedback on Luxardo Sangue Morlacco? I don't find much on google. Are they similar products?
I'm wanting to make an Elephants Sometimes Forget and my local shop has both of these but I'm no judge having tasted neither one as yet. I love sour cherry....anything, really and have high hopes for some cherry cocktails.

Never had (or seen) it, but it was discussed on eGullet. It seems that it is similar to the juice in a jar a Luxardo cherries. Cheery Heering is complex with lots of flavors in addition to cherry.
I suspect you will like either or both. When you finish one bottle, buy the other brand.

re: EvergreenDan
I saw that thread, but no one on there can compare. I went with the Sangue Morlacco in the end and tried the Elephant Sometimes Forgets. As the poster in that thread said, nice but not mind blowing. I'll have to keep scouting around for the perfect use. Towards the end of the bottle I'll try the Cherry Heering so I can to a side-by-side comparison.
Our little liquor cabinet is suddenly way too full!
