Did anyone try it? I missed out on that evening.

And whoever is going to the white truffle dinner tonight, please definitely report back.

thanks.

  1. We went in for cheese, but ended up with wieners in our mouths.

I thought it was fascinating, and well executed. I'm not a corn dog fan, so the whole thing was a bit lost on me. The spiced persimmon cake, OTOH? Fantastic stuff.

      Wow, sounds good.

I'll have to see if he has another prixe-fixe in early December. I doubt he'll have another early prixe-meal set up due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Could you give us the name of the restaurant? I dunno this one.

          My bad. It's LQ@SK.

Basically Laurent Quenoix (sp?) at Starry Kitchen.

It's a pop-up restaurant essentially for lack of a better term.

I have seen a show about pop up restaurants but have never been to one or even heard about them in LA. I have also not seen a thread about them here on CH but it would be very interesting. What board would be the proper board to post this?

Addition-I just saw a post from August that discusses this restaurant but I didn't see it identified as a pop up so I would never have known. It is a great concept.

              Here this should help:

and you can definitely post on this board, i believe, if it's a pop-up restaurant in LA.
