Broccoli Themed Dinner Party Ideas?

Hi,

So my friends and I have month "Iron Chef" Dinner parties where we pick an ingredient and make dished based on this. We then vote on our favorite dished for bragging rights. This month's ingredient is broccoli and I need ideas! I was hoping to find some type of sweet dish, as I can't imagine a lot of people wanting to try dessert with broccoli, but it doesn't have to be. Also the dishes do not have to be Vegan, but would be nice if they are. Anyone have any ideas??

Thanks!

I really didn't think it possible but here it is... a Broccoli for Dessert recipe, Brownies.
Perhaps a test drive ought to happen before the event..

Don't forget broccoli sprouts! Would make a nice counterpoint on a dish as a "chicken-and-egg" sort of motif. Salad, topping, edible bedding.

If you don't want to sprout your own, Whole Foods often has them.

If you have enough stems, you could attempt to juice them and make a broccoli granité, which could either be served as a palate cleanser or as a cold element on perhaps a cheese plate or some other savory item.

make a zucchini brownie recipe subbing in (cooked) broccoli instead.

Wouldn't be vegan, but I wonder how well a carrot-cake recipe made using shredded broccoli stems would work? Or a zucchini bread recipe, for which you could probably get away with both shredded stems and finely chopped florets?

Broccoli? No. Broccolini or Broccoli Rabe, sure.

It just got a ruling. Broccolini is ok as it is a hybrid. However, Broccoli Rabe is actually part of the turnip family so we cannot use it. So any broccolini recipes for me??

                Thanks!
