Business Lunch - Midtown Manhattan

Need a good place in midtown for a business lunch. I recall Prime Grill and Le Marais being extremely noisy - has their been any change. Le Carne always seemed quieter.

Any feedback or other suggestions. No dairy.

I'd also consider Colbeh. The atmosphere and the food are equally lovely.

Went to Le Carne Grill. Very quiet, primarily because it was relatively empty. Food was very good, but pricey, which did not matter since the customer was paying.

We went to Colbeh for supper last week. Everything was fine except the background music was unbearably loud. Maybe because it was supper, not lunch, and a "holiday" week, but I'd check it out before going.

Abigael's will probably be the quietest option in midtown.

Aigaels doesn't always seat you downstais at lunch and upstairs is not conducive for usines. I don't find LMarais so noisy at lunch.

Abigael's will usually seat you downstairs if you request it. Never had a problem with asking.

Is Wolf and Lamb too far?

Wolf & Lamb is quiet enough, at least for Manhattanites. Abigael's can be funereal. Abigael's would be a good choice if you want your table seated away from others. They are pretty accommodating about this.
