Found: Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce with an OU

For anyone like me who might be looking for chipotles in adobo sauce with one of the major hechsherim, I finally found one. It's Embasa brand, and I found it at a Safeway store. It's actually on sale this week, 4 for $5 (I got a raincheck, they only had one left).

If you have a Safeway near you and are looking for this item, you may be able to find it in your store. Or, keep an eye out for Embasa products.

Embasa is carried by a number of major grocery chains (at least in my area). It is also easy to find in Mexican groceries, if you happen to have any near you.

Thanks for the link. For some reason that thread (and the second thread linked in that one) do not show up in a search for "chipotle".

I've been trying to find these for quite a while -- I'd read here about the Roland brand, but I have never seen it in my local stores. And I try to remember to look for them in every new store I wind up in.

Now I just need to remember all those recipes I saw that called for them!
