Something similar to Montys Raw Bar in Coconut Grove?

For the past I dont know how many years, when i've gone home to miami for thanksgiving weekend, i've always met friends who still live there at Montys in coconut grove one night. Its not that its the greatest food, but in November it's perfect weather to sit outside, nice to be on the water, and its the kind of place a group of 8-12 people can take their time to eat and drink for hours without being rushed. Id prefer to stay away from south beach, but otherwise does anyone have any kind of similar casual, outdoor suggestions (preferrably seafood but will consider other foods) for a larger group?

Scotty's Landing perhaps? It's close to Monty's and it's outdoors casual and the food is solid. Right there in The Grove.

Food there sucks though and service aint much better. If you're looking for outdoors on the water in the Grove at a decent price, Scotty's and Monty's are your only options, unfortunately.

Anything furthur up or down on the water would work, say within 20 minutes in either direction, does not necessarily have to be in the grove.

Waterfront options 20 min N or S of Grove are unfortunately pretty limited.

Its more like 30-35 min south, but Ocean Grill at Black Point Marina has a great waterfront atmosphere and much better food than Monty's or Scotty's. Live music most evenings.

Check out Rickenbacker Fish Company over on Key Biscayne. They have a great outdoor bar/patio with plenty of seating. Food and prices are both decent. Further down on the Key the Ritz Carlton has a nice burger shack on the beach that I've heard is pretty good.
