Sole Proprietor
I have been dining here since I was in my 20's so a longgggggg time. The place is not the same. Go for the bar and to watch a game. Our waiter Max was great. The sushi was mediocre to bad. The mediocre was the tuna maki tempura. The sushi mix was awful..stale rice ..we packed most of it to go but just dumped it out. The lobster bisque had a huge chunk of lobster but had no taste. The shrimp in my Bloody Mary was soggy yuck. The bread was great and real butter (in foil packets). Mom loved her salmon and fries. The Caesar salad was fine. No more..the days of this being my go to spot in Wormtown are over. 75 with a generous tip.

Bummer. We really only like The Sole for the cheap bar happy hour deal and $5 martinis.

Yeah, I've been thumbs down on this place for the past 6 years or so. Folks still seem to rave about it, which is beyond me. Next time, I recommend Baba or Haiku for sushi. Fish dishes at Ritual were also very good last week.

LOVE Haiku and Baba but mom is not a sushi fan...she wanted fish..gotta try Ritual in Dec. when I am back....thanks SC

Be forewarned that although Ritual is good, Mom may not enjoy it. Loud techno music on a couple of time that I've been. Sort of weird, but I think as the evening wares on, they are trying to promote a club-like atmosphere for the bar.
