Container Gardening - When to stop watering after frost

I have a few raised beds with some kale and parsley left. Also I have a few containers with a small maple tree, a perennial hibiscus, perhaps something else perennial.

I can't help wonder if one should water these few things even in cold weather - overnight in the 30's, daytime 60 +/-.

Thanks.

Yes, it's wise to water, but try to do it early on days that will be above freezing.

In addition, be aware that if your container plants are in terra cotta pots or other non-frost-proof containers, they may crack & split due to freezes & thaws.

When i was in college studying Horticulture my soil science instructor told us that watering your plants before a cold frost will actually protect them by swelling up their cells, so keep watering......
