Looks like a place called Pho Diem Hoa opened at the old location of Pho Minh on Garvey. Anyone try it yet? The cook apparently used to work at Pho Minh before according to a Craigslist post.

don't care about spirit, only that magnificent #1 pho bac.

          LOLz.

ns1, you no like Huynh's pho bac? Man, on Saturdays, I feel like half of El Monte's in that dining room during lunch.

Huynh's pho bac? What? Details por favor.

I live out in NoHo and stopped going to the SGV for pho after Pho Minh closed down...Pho 999 up the street is good enough.

I went and tried it the other night. There are no more 30% off specials and i did not think much of the broth. I ordered a small bowl ($5.50) and the portion size was not bad though.
The only thing that reminded me of Pho Minh about this restaurant was that the place was practically empty.
