Indian food in the financial district/tribecca

Hi chowhound friends,
I'm somewhat new to the financial district/downtown area and was hopping for some Indian food. I know it's probably not the best around here but does anyone have any advice as to the best in the area? Eat in or take out are both fine.

Tamarind Tribeca, 99 Hudson St. at Franklin St., is one of the best modern Indian restaurants in the city. Mehtaphor, at 130 Duane St., has innovative Indian fusion cuisine too.
