Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota

Thanksgiving out in KC or JoCo

I'd appreciate any guidance, past experiences, heck, even hearsay, about dining out for Thanksgiving. Johnson county or KC, Mo, preferably, not Liberty, Independence, or the Northland. We usually eat at home, but this year no one will be traveling, so there will only be two of us. We want to take the opportunity to have a nice meal, traditional or not, without all the
labor and clean up.

  1. we ate a the oak room in the intercontinental several years ago - it was fantastic. great view of the fireworks and festivities going on in the plaza.

      2. we did Lidias last yr. You can order the regular menu OR their Thanksgiving meal. Very yummy. Would go again if we were in town.
