SF Valley - Sunday Birthday Lunch

Some friends want to take me to a late lunch on Sunday in the valley (Van Nuys, Northridge and areas in between or near). I have been searching the boards and nothing has caught my fancy, and since I have not lived in the valley since my early 20s, I am not familiar what is new and exciting in the area. Nothing overly expensive but decent... and good. With table service. All ethnicities welcome! Thank you in advance!

  1. How about Brent's Deli in Northridge? Black Pastrami Rueben. It's not fancy but it sure tastes good. Happy Birthday!

      1. re: JTea

WoW! Thank you, JTea. It has now been changed to dinner and we have settled on Macaroni Grill as it is a place they like (I don't necessarily like it from what I remember from my one visit years ago, but it is the company I am going for in this instance).
Pho is my absolute favorite and if I didn't think a couple of the attendees would freak out, Pho So 1 would be choice #1. It has actually been in the back of my mind the whole time for this meal. To make myself happy, I am going to go to the new Pho-Licious in Arcadia for a late breakfast/lunch today. ;-)
I am keeping your list for future reference! Thank you again!
