They offer both a la carte plus the tasting menu and I highly suggest you go for the tasting menu. I forget the price, but it varies depending on the number of courses you select. I do recall it was not cheap, but you do get more overall value if you do the chef tasting (you are well taken care of). The menu varies based upon seasonal ingredients. Some highlights of my meal were the white chocolate dusted scallops and the egg with risotto and shaved truffles, though not sure if they are still available. Enjoy, you will have a fantastic meal.

During the week there are two options -a la carte or the tasting menu. The 5 course tasting is $70 and the 7 course is $90 (appeared that a soup and cheese course is added). Add on a few drinks and you’re over $100 for dinner on a Thursday night. Our service started off strong. We were encouraged to try the tasting menu as it displays the chef’s creativity. Based on this statement my dining partner and I thought we would either receive 2 different plates per course or something different than the tables around us. Neither turned out to be true. As the dining room started to fill up we were left with empty drink glasses and felt as though we were constantly searching for someone. All in all the food was decent, but towards the end we started to feel like it or food was coming off an assembly line. The complimentary chocolate brulee looked and tasted as though it had been torched hours before dinner service and was just waiting to be served. I wasn’t wowed by any particular dish and definitely feel that the tasting menu prices are a bit high for the spot. It’s unfortunate because I’m always in search of a great place just outside the city for our monthly dinner. I’m not sure if I’m still coming off of a unbelievable experience at Per Se last weekend or if this place just doesn’t hit the mark for me.

I didn't want to say anything because you were already headed out there, but I also had an underwhelming experience at Mica. I felt like it was Blackfish Lite, the food and service both in the style of Blackfish but not as well done in either case, and I'm not a big fan of Blackfish to begin with.

Wow, that sounds like a completely different experience than I had. when we ordered the chef tasting we were asked our likes and dislikes so the chef could tailor the menu to our tasts. Plus, we asked if my husband and I could each have different courses and they happily obliged.

According to their website they offer both a la carte, and either five or seven course tasting menus. I would suspect that the five course menu would be about the same as it is at Blackfish (~45 dollars).
Having only dined at Blackfish, cannot suggest dishes, but do believe you should be in for a treat!
