Good Place to Spend a Thanksgiving in NOLA?

visiting from NYC and wondering a good place to have a thanksgiving dinner with my gf. we will be in the french quarter but not afraid to venture out!

    A lot of people spend the afternoon at the track, too. Also a reserve ahead kind of thing.

        A big New Orleans Tradition is Thanksgiving Day at Fairgrounds Racetrack. haven't been but it sounds fun. not sure but it must be a buffet. The websites are now touting everything Thanksgiving. gonola.com, neworleansonline.com, nola.com, bestofneworleans.com. Have Fun.
