Chelsea Market Breakfast?

I am taking my mother and my mother in law for breakfast in the city tomorrow (Friday) and thought this would be a fun place to go, can anyone recommend a place to eat here. We are celebrating both birthdays! Advice and recomendations please.

Friedmans Deli - inside Chelsea Market, consistently good.

I'm a big fan of breakfast at Cookshop, which is near (but not in) Chelsea Market.

Are you looking for a place IN Chelsea Market or NEAR Chelsea Market?

If you're doing a celebratory birthday breakfast, I would choose somewhere that wasn't inside the market, which has no windows, really. How about Pastis?

I really wanted in the Market bc I thought it was a cool place to go that would be fun for my mother in law, she lives on Long Island and never gets into manhattan so it was really more about the atmosphere and the food.. I am at a loss as to where I can take them that has both good food and must see experience local...

My mom lives on the upper west side (90's) so If it's just a restaurant then there are few choices there.. any ideas on amazing places like the market for breakfast?

You could do Pastis beforehand, and then go walk around Chelsea Market.

I'm not saying don't go, just that if it's really sunny and 51 tomorrow like it's supposed to be, I'd rather eat somewhere a little brighter, personally.

Also you could walk the High Line afterwards.
