Christmas Party For The Office

  • 7

I'm looking for an upscale/casual venue with good food and decent ambiance to entertain my staff of 12 for a Christmas Dinner Party! We work in marketing and adverstising and would like to make reservations at a place off La Brea or in West Los Angeles. I'm looking for any and all suggestions from readers!

  1. On the westside (but not too far west), I love Westside Tavern, in the Westside Pavillion underneath the Landmark Movie Theatre. It has terrific food, which is very good quality... they do the best they can do source locally, etc. And the menu changes seasonally. I love the atmosphere. And the bar/bartenders are terrific. really good cocktails. The foods to share, such as the flatbreads (one of the best versions in town) are excellent... well, I like all the food. Anyway, I think it would be a very good choice. And they do have a private room in the back. And it is not too expensive!

      1. We had our holiday dinner party @ Spago last year - a table of 11. It was great.

What about trying the new restaurant @ the recently refurbished Hotel Bel Air?

        1. I had an office X-Mas party at Fogo de Chao, a Brazillian Churascarra, and it was a lot of fun, as long as everyone is a meat eater. Old school at Lawry's can be a good time as well.

Another meat option is Gyu-Kaka, a Japanese version of the Korean steak house, where you grill your own at the table.

+1 for Fogo de Chao. Great place for a party plus the best salad bar in the city.

even thought i no longer eat meat, i found plenty of high-quality, non-meat, sources of protein offered at the Fogo de Chao salad bar.

I went to Fogo last year around christmas, it was quite a madhouse. Is it usually like that? Seemed like it was way too crowded.
