Saturday late lunch/early dinner - Freeport/Yarmouth area

mels Nov 9, 2011 11:57 AM

The spouse and I are looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat on Saturday somewhere around Freeport or Yarmouth area. It may end up being an off time, probably around 3-4, so ideally it will be somewhere that is open all afternoon and not with rigid "dinner begins at 5:30" type rules. The only requirement is we want table service- no take out. Other than that, we are open to all cuisines, price points, etc. Any ideas?

Broad Arrow Tavern (inside the Haraseeket Inn, Freeport) has lunch/dinner service 11:30am-10:30 pm. Very large/eclectic menu..everything from pizza, burgers, to fresh fish/seafood and grilled meats. Local sourcing when possible. Fun room. (If you take Exit 22, the Inn is right there and you can avoid driving thru any Main Street shopping craziness).

Quite a few other places in Freeport will offer what you seek. China Rose and Mediterranean Grill come to mind.

Azure Cafe on Main St is pretty solid. They have lunch from 11-3, light fare from 3-5, and then dinner from 5-9.

The Falmouth Sea Grill just south of Yarmouth would give you an afternoon water view as a bonus.
