  1. Don't bother with Mt Washington. The food is terrible. Oh yeah, also it just burned to the ground:

Near Timonium for an awesome lunch at a unique place I'd suggest cutting across Padonia road, hanging a right on Falls Road, and eating at Jake's on a picnic table. Amazing grill joint with a real home-made vibe. I love that place.

In Fell's, maybe Kooper's Tavern. Very, very good pub grub.

Thames Street Oyster House is very good and hip at the moment.

They have some tables inside and a couple of picnic tables outside (next to a babbling brook) but it's the most casual place imaginable and a lot of people pick up orders (especially for game day, stuff like that). It's located in an old garage. To me, it's basically the sort of place that you wish you had around the corner.

      1. Thanks for the heads up

        1. I would recommend Mezze in Fells Point. It is tapas oriented and conducive to sharing a lot of small plates, providing great variety.

Not far from your hotel in Timonium is an excellent Italian restaurant in the heart of Towson, Cafe Troia. the atmosphere is lovely and the food exceptionally good. FoiGras
