I need help! Suggestions for dinner for a large party (30)

Hi everyone. I need your help, a friends birthday is coming up and we're all going to have a dinner for him. I have 30 people confirmed for dinner. The original place I had in mind cannot accommodate us. Does anyone know a place that can? And that has good food and good drinks? It can be anywhere in the Bay Area. Thank you in advance Chowhounders!

What is your budget? Can you be more specific about what you have in mind? Type of cuisine, ambiance, rouge geographical location? Your question is too broad.

Sorry about that. We're looking to spend around $20-$40 per person. Any cuisine is fine, most of us are open to anything that tastes good. Ambiance would be more relaxed.. we're in our 20s. Anywhere from San Jose to San Francisco would be ok.

        Nola's in Palo Alto...

May be Gordon Biersch though I think Nola's food will probably be better.
