Looking for Seafood Restaurant
We are looking for a seafood restaurant in midtown for this Saturday night 11/12. We will be 10 people and want to eat early ( 6 pm). We have tried Docks and Oyster Bar nothing available. Can anyone make a suggestion?

Oceana is our favorite fish/seafood restauarnt. The food is superb, service is friendly and attentive, and the decor is very attractive. Because it is such a huge place, you should have no problem getting a reservation for this coming Saturday. For a party your size, request one of the large oval tables.

Millesime is actually south of Midtown, in the Carlton Hotel, on the corner of Madison & 29th. While the food is excellent, the problem we had the Saturday night we were there was that there was live music in the downstairs bar/lounge. Because it was LOUD, it could clearly be heard in the upstairs dining room. Very annoying!! Had we known, we would never have gone there on a Saturday. Our waiter told us that there is live music every weekend. Imo, that will not be good for easy conversation around the table with a group your size.
We had lunch once at Ed's Chowder House. Both food and service were very good. However, our daughter and son-in-law told us that when they had dinner there (it was after we had been there), service was atrocious.
I've had dinner once at the UES Atlantic Grill. The food was o.k. but nothing to rave about.
