And anything you would like to share about the food scene in Louisville. My husband and I are moving to Louisville for a job he has been offered. Excited to learn about a new city!

Here are some specific wants:

Ethnic groceries and restaurants
What is the best "regular" grocery store.
Read that trader joe's just opened, which is fantastic. I love shopping there.
Gourmet groceries
Farmer's markets
Butchers

Open to all sorts of food, just like it to be good.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Thank you so much! This sort of information helps so much when you move. If you have any restaurant favorites I would love that too.

Sapporos for Japanese, Mayan Cafe for Mexican, Palermo Viejo for great steaks, Vietnam Kitchen for... Vietnamese, Koreana for Korean, Pita Delites for the best hummus in town.. and other great ME food, I've heard Doc Crows is good BBQ and raw bar, The Blind Pig for Gastrofare, Impellizaris for great pizza, La Gallo Rosso for great Italian, Double Dragon (on Goss Ave) for chinese, Thai Smile 5 for Thai.. that should hold you for a while

Thank you so much! This will be a big help. My husband is already there in corporate temp housing and I am going to visit this weekend. Looks like we have a list of places to try!
