Looking for wonderful roll recipe for Thanksgiving

Terrie H. Nov 7, 2011 02:46 PM

My sister always brings the rolls to our family dinners but won't be joining us this year. I will be filling in. I make bread but always the crusty, chewy type which isn't what the family looks for at Thanksgiving.

Do you have a soft roll recipe that gets your rave review? Thank you!

Parker House rolls are light and fluffy, so they are perfect for turkey, rather than heavy and filling.

My search skills must have been off - not sure how I missed this thread. Thank you Caitlin - there are lots of good ideas here.

Georgene's Fluffy Rolls from one of the early issues of Saveur are easy and perfect for a special occasion. Nobody's ever turned them away.

These "golden pull apart butter buns" are just wonderful (I think I probably found them through the thread linked above):

Cook's Illustrated's Crescent Rolls are amazing.
