Sunday night in Quebec City dinner suggestions

We are visiting for a few days and have had good and bad meals so far (best was The Hobbit). Any suggestions for Sunday night dinner??

I second Le Café du Clocher Penché. Le Moine Échanson is great too.

In my humble opinion l'Affaire est Ketchup is not really representative of the new trend of Quebec cuisine. Clocher Penché, Moine Echanson, Pain Beni, Toast... yes Café du Monde is good just good and Panache way overprice for the quality. Go to the new Bistro B if your younger... good food lousy atmosphere and not so good service

      Price range?

L'Affaire est Ketchup won't disappoint you!

It would help to know what type of food, price range and area you're interested in. Which restaurants disapointed you?

Since I see a tag "steak" I will agree with madamebatignolles about Entrecôte St-Jean, there's also Beffroi steakhouse that I enjoyed although the menu is a bit "classic". (Quebec is not reknown for its steaks, can't get close to a texan steak)

If you're willing to walk a bit outside old Quebec, there's Clocher penché and L'affaire est Ketchup that are two favorites of mine, on St-Joseph east.

Did you try some restaurants frequently mentioned here, like Café du monde, Panache?

I was there a few month ago and my best meal was at Le Pain Beni fresh local ingredients, very creative and good service, nice decor also can also try Il Teatro for Italian and L'Entrecôte for steaks
