Ruam Mit Thai

I did not see Ruam Mit Thai pop up in the "Favorite Thai Restaurant" string on this Board. I have not been there for a long time, but am going with a gorup on Tuesday. Has anyone been there lately? Any recommendations from the menu?

Thanks!

  1. It's acceptable Thai food. Nothing great, but passable in my experience. And sadly, it's the closest to our house, so it's the Thai food we eat most often....

    1. The green curry with tofu is my standard order. I also really like the Phra Nua (beef salad - the medium is very spicy), the extra spicy beef jerky (which isn't actually spicy) and sticky rice, and the Pha Ram Long Song (red curry with peanuts on top of a bed of steamed spinach).

For a healthier option, I like their wonton soup (usually sans wantons) -- a clear broth with bright veggies.

If you're going with a group make sure to allow extra time. The service can be terribly slow. I prefer take out for that reason.
