I want to get a jump on my holiday canning but haven't seen cranberries yet. Any hunting tips?

  1. Nowhere to offer you, unfortunately, but I'm shocked to find out that they're not available yet. Our ordinary supermarkets here in St. Louis have had them for almost a month. Wonder why that is?

    1. Monterey Market had them last week, and if they do I'm pretty sure other places do, too.

      1. Safeway and Diablo Foods in Lafayette have them.

        1. Farmer Joe's on Fruitvale in Oakland had some when I was there a week ago.

          1. Raley's in Merced has them, so I can't imagine that the Raleys' equivalents in the bay area (Knob Hill Foods, Raleys, Bel Air) don't.

            1. I saw some at Berkeley Bowl this week.

              1. Trader Joe's has them organic and conventional.

                1. Berkeley Natural has them (organic) -- bulk & in a small carton.
