Vintage drinking glasses

pbjluver Nov 5, 2011 05:19 PM

There used to be a wonderful vintage glassware store on W. 16th Street NYC called Mr. Pink.
Unfortunately the store closed a few years ago.

I am searching for some vintage/retro inexpensive holiday gifts and am in need of a similar NYC store.

Will travel anywhere in Manhattan.

Suggestions, please.

I don't know Mr. Pink, but have you been to Fishs Eddy? It may be just what you're looking for.

I've been shopping there for years.
Was looking for something more retro...50s and 60s

Fish's Eddy unfortunately has very little in the way of cocktail and spirits glassware.

I remember Mr. Pink very well and purchased a number of martini glasses from him. There was an excellent place selling vintage cocktail items on Spring Street--they are gone but I think they moved to the Chelsea Antiques Building Chelsea Antiques Building (110 W 25th St, New York, NY 10001) You should try this place since there are a lot dealers in it.
