I wait for this every year, I could care less about price, it's excellent. Which Costco did you see it in?

The one on Roscoe in Canoga Park. $10.39/lb.

Any thoughts on keeping it? At my house we're working hard on losing weight so it's not going to go fast. I've split the hunk that's just short of a pound into 3 parts. I covered the cut ends of 2 with parchment and sealed them up in vacuum bags for freezing while we enjoy a reasonable size piece.

If they are likely to keep well in the freezer I'll get some more.

They also have Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf French roast in 2 pound bags for just a couple dollars more than the 1 pound bags at CB&TL.

This is the time of year to have a vacuum sealer!

Unfortunately, it doesn't last too long for me. I wrap in plastic and put in a tupperware container in the frig. If your dieting, crumble it on top of a salad, skip the crackers.

I bought a 5 lb. wheel from WOOT a few years ago. People made fun of me, until they tasted it.
