Pre-Theater Dinner; 11-5-11, Kennedy Center question ,

Well, I know we should have been making reservations MUCH earlier but we blew it. 11-5-11; 8 pm show. We are taking the Metro (red line)from SHady Grove and then switching to get off at Foggy Bottom. We really could eat anywhere along the line that is an easy walk from a station, but would like to try to get a fixed - price, pre-theater dinner.

The "best" places are booked. What about Circle Bistro? Other ideas that might be further out, but an easy walk from the station?

For a future visit - District Commons at Washington Circle is a new option - http://www.districtcommonsdc.com/dist... - and a block from the shuttle service to the Kennedy Center from the Foggy Bottom metro stop - same group as the (departed) Ten Penh, Ceiba, etc.

I know it's too late, but in the future consider Ris. I love their menu and I'm pretty sure they have a pre-theater menu. They are a short walking distance to the Foggy Bottom Metro shuttle to the Kennedy Center.
